Waterscapes

Water has been a big part of my life. I grew up in Michigan near the Great Lakes and did a lot of activities in the water like swimming, canoeing, skiing, fishing, and sailing. I always found it fascinating how the water could change slowly or quickly on the surface, while hiding things underneath. Now that I live in Kentucky, I have ponds and a lake nearby that I love to watch. I create artwork that shows how I see these ponds. I enjoy capturing the reflections and changes in the movement of the water. The colors I use are vibrant and deep, representing the hidden secrets of the water.
