Pastels

I love being outside, inspiring me to draw with my pastels. When I see a beautiful sky or landscape, I quickly go to my drawing studio and create a picture of what I see. The skies change so fast that I must quickly draw the initial pictures. It's fascinating that even if I draw from the same spot, the skies and colors change so much that each drawing is unique. Drawing the landscapes of the horse trails where I ride was inspired by my sky drawings. The way the light shines through the leaves and trees is incredible! Enjoy!
