ARTIST STATEMENT

I have captured two distinct emotional values - joyfulness and peacefulness. I achieved this by using layers of paint that blend together to create a vibrant display of color and energy in my wildflower paintings. The layers are combined with strong, energetic, and focused brushwork, which creates a push-and-pull effect and draws the viewer in and out of focus. The unexpected collision of these elements in my work is what I find most fascinating.

My approach to floral painting is unconventional and repurposed. I strive to showcase the strength and resilience of flowers through my art. Nature is the common thread that runs through my new series. Every brushstroke brings nature to life, taking the audience on a journey of wonder and beauty. My painting process is an immersive experience where I embrace the present and share the beauty that I witness.
